Choose points injunction in poaching proceedings AssuredPartners – Enterprise Insurance
A federal district court judge on Friday agreed to grant AssuredPartners Inc.'s injunction and expedited investigation in poaching proceedings it filed earlier this week against a competitor and five outgoing employees.
Judge Robert C. Jones of the Reno District Court in AssuredPartners of Nevada, LLC vs. L / P Insurance Services, LLC ruled that in granting the TRO, the court determined that “Assured was likely to succeed by virtue of merit will be “his claims” and that the agent “will suffer irreparable harm” if the defendants “are allowed to continue misusing and appropriating Assured's confidential information”.
The defendants are instructed in the TRO, among other things, to return all confidential information and to destroy all information in their possession until it is returned. They are also asked to make themselves available for deposit within 14 days.
AssuredPartner's lawsuit, filed Tuesday, states that the five employees who left last week not only ingested confidential information, but also recruited AssuredPartners customers.
AssuredPartners had no comment, and defendants' attorneys did not respond to a request for comment.
